Italy officially beat the world record for the longest ever pizza: Guinness World Records judge Lorenzo Veltri handed Italy the crown for this 1.5 km long masterpiece, realized at Milan’s Expo .

For this great achievement, Italy has to thank Mr Sante Ludovico and its company, “La pizza + uno” from the city of Piacenza, Ms Paola De Micheli, president of the World Tomato Week and the Italian Pizza Makers Team (NIP).
